Dr. Benjamin is an award-winning, dual-trained board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Scottsdale, AZ. He focuses on helping his patients achieve their surgical and desired body goals while fully dedicating

himself to patient safety. He has over 12 years of experience in general and plastic surgery and offers a variety of surgical procedures. Dr. Benjamin has a particular interest in breast and body transformations (including a safer Brazilian
Butt Lift) as well as mommy makeover combination procedures. Additionally, Dr. Benjamin offers both surgical facial rejuvenation (such as eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty procedures) as well as nonsurgical facial rejuvenation procedures such as Ellacor micro-coring. Rapid recovery breast augmentation is one of Dr. Benjamin’s most sought-after surgeries. This technique enhances the appearance of the breasts by adding volume, cleavage, and fullness, while allowing the patient to go back to regular activities in just 1 to 2 days. Dr. Benjamin attended the University of Arizona in Tucson, where he earned his bachelor’s degree with honors in Molecular and Cellular Biology and also completed his medical degree. He has a strong interest in translational research, cancer epigenetics,
and investigative breast cancer drug research. He conducted several research studies at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as a designated Medical Student Research Fellow and contributed to the opening of new Phase I and II clinical trials for novel cancer drug development in myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), as well as early-stage colon and breast cancers. Dr. Benjamin completed his five years of general surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he trained at renowned institutions such as Cook County Hospital, the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, and the Level I Advocate Christ Medical Center. During his years of training, his passion for plastic surgery further developed,d and he was recruited to New York to pursue a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency. Dr. Benjamin completed his plastic and reconstructive surgical training at the Long Island Plastic Surgical Group, PC, in affiliation with SUNY-Stony Brook University.

Dr. Martin Benjamin is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons as well as the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also an active member and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has presented at numerous local, regional, and national meetings and has published papers in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the Annals of Plastic Surgery.
