What is Recovery Like After Lumenis UltraPulse TotalFX?
Lumenis UltraPulse TotalFX usually requires about two days of downtime with a total healing period of about five days. Through this healing period, you will likely notice some redness, minimal swelling, and tenderness or sensitivity. You may also notice some peeling or slight crusting of the treatment area. If necessary, you can take over-the-counter pain medications to maintain your comfort through this time. When this healing period is complete, you will immediately notice firmer, tighter skin that appears refreshed with more even tone and texture. Your skin will continue to improve over the course of about six months as new collagen production continues.
